I use 2.6.1, but it happened in 2.6.0 as well. Logged in as admin, happens with any user.
After editing an item in tasks entity, I get the following message on SAVE:

After editing an item in tasks entity, I get the following message on SAVE: I am certain, this going to be hard to reproduce for you .... I have changed a lot with respect to stages field, automted actions, access rights, field display rules. If helpful, I could send DB in PM.

Something is wrong with access configuration. So first play with access.
