I renamed the username field label as "confirm email adress" and work just fine. There are some cases when the user make a typo error, but it not always.

Please check that you have "Disable email notifications" set to "No" in the entity configuration.

Try to run the last one, if the messsge is the same that means that you already have the latest version of the core script and the extension as well. You can confirm it at the menu option Tools and then check version.
