Kaban Board Sub Entities

I'm testing out the Kaban board and everything works great, except I can only make the Kaban board show up for main entities, not sub entities.

To duplicate, create a kaban report for tasks "sub entity" under projects. Then go to menu configuration and you won't see the kaban report you just created as an option under "selected reports".

But if you go back and change the kaban report to anything other than a sub entity such as projects, then go back to menu configuration, now you can see the kaban report as an option under "selected reports"

Kanban for subentities will be available if you select parent record, eg. Project. It's because we can't displays kanban for all tasks from all projects. The same for Gantt.

What does that mean? If I select Project, I still cannot list the subentity Tasks.
Or is there another place where I must select the parent?
