Access Control

Post by pepe »

A user group is called client:
- they should see all fields (view)
- edit some defiend fields (update, etc.)

The client access configuration:
2018-03-19_Client_Access.PNG
The client field access:
2018-03-19_Client_FieldAccess.PNG
The respective form looks like:
2018-03-19_Client_Form.PNG
2018-03-19_Client_Form.PNG (9.75 KiB) Viewed 4106 times
Problems:
1. Tabs, where client should have view access are not displayed at all.
2. Editable fields on the displayed tab are not shown / cannot be edited.

Sergey, I think, the problem might be related to the DISPLAY FIELDS RULES. I am using this feature on that entity (on the form). The first tap has radio buttons on it. Unless an option is being chosen there, all other taps are hidden. In case of client group, the first tap is view only (clients are not allowed to change the typ of task). When logged in as client, the system might not consider or not see the value on the first tap and, therefore, not display any of the other taps due to the engaged DISPLAY FIELDS RULES. This might just be a possible explanation regarding that wrong behavior of the form.
Best regards, Pepe

I did already try various changes and find that the access control (in conjunction with feild display rules) does not work as expected. If you please could look into the system? Thank you.
