New Filter Options in Report Designer

Dear Sergey,

Currently Report Designer has two default filter options, filter by date and filter by users. I suggest a new filter option. "Filters By Entity Fields"

Sometimes, we need to qucikly filter the mysql table according to some columns. For example according to customer, status etc. So is it possible to add new filter options for dropdown field type, entity field type and global lists?

It will work like this. When creating the report, in Filters Panels, the admin will select an entity and a dropdown field type belong to that entity. And in configuration, the mysql table will have a new variable something like "[filter_by_entity_field]".

Hi Sergey,

Is it possible to add another report filter but in the same entity of the Filter by Entity 1? Like in the picture below, I toggled on the Filter by Entity 1 using the "Leading Indicator" Entity and "Location" column/field as filter. I would want to add another filter, so I toggled on the Filter by Entity 2 but Im still using the same Entity "Leading Indicator" but using a different column/field named "Department". Is this possible? If yes, please guide me on how to do it.

"Filter by entity 2" means second filter so you can select the same entity I think. Try this way.

I tried toggling on the Filter by Entity 2 and selected the Leading INdicator Entity, and in the dropdown list it is showing the "HEading COlumn" for the Leading Indicator Entity which is the Location. Is it possible to choose a column in the selected entity other than the heading column? Attached are the screenshots for your reference.
