Hello,

How can I add the ability to be able to link an entity to an access group?

Or add a field/dropdown against an entity which is populated from another entities group?

Example, if I create a User Group against Projects, I would also like that same list to be a dropdown against a user?

Or alternatively, create an entity (Customers), create related items link to users (Client Users), assign this new entity specified access group (view assigned only)

Any way of linking these objects already or point me in the direction of editing the source to allow access groups to be an item on the related items menu?

what issue you try to solve?

Create new entity (Customers)
Create new Customer (RukoSoft Limited)
Assign Customer access group (view assigned only)
Link through related items Users to Customer
Users in RukoSoft Limited can view assigned projects/tasks etc.

Alternatively, create new Groups Users in Projects area.
Cannot assign or re-use Group Users in other areas such as dropdown select against Users entity. Using Group Users in Users entity will create a new Group Users rather than use the existing one created against Projects.

I am glad, somebody else picked up that important feature!! Please see my post "Utilise a filtered List as dropdown". This is essential in project management. I have asked for this feature before. However, it has not been rated high enough to get implemented yet. Hopefully, this will be in 1.8.
