Big Problem with XLSX Input Field Type Export

Post by elviseras »

Hi,

I have a big problem with the XLSX export of data from an Input type field. It seems as if the export in RK treated it as a numeric field and then in EXCELL we can not recover the initial value because the last digits are changed !!!

Please, see the attached images

Thanks in advance for any help!!!

Just change column type to "text" in excel and you will see initial value.

Thank for your help, Sergey but we had already tried that, and setting the value as text is the same as in image # 2 (2.01902E+15)

Can you please check it to see if it just happens to us ?? I think it happens only if there is a high number of digits

regards

Hi Sergey, We have tested in local client Excell 2013 & Excell 2016. In cloud services tested in Google Docs, Zoho Spreadsheet & OnlyOfficce Cloud....we have exactly the same problem in all cases!!!! :?: :?: :?:

Is it possible that we have a problem with the database? What else can we check?

thanks in advance

Hi, we have done following additional tests:

1.- Export to CSV : BAD DATA (As before with xlsx)
2.- Export to TXT: WORK FINE
3.- Print Button to another tab: WORK FINE
4.- Print Button to PDF file: WORK FINE
5.- Same tests in others entities with same file type: Same result (BAD DATA in XLSX & CSV)

I see. Did you save this file or this is original file from app?

In xls it saves as number. But I can't reproduce it on my server. I tried enter this number and export it and it's ok for me.
So might be issue with server configuration or but in lib that I uses to export in xls.
In this case you can use txt export.

Can you attache csv file too, please but don't edit it.
