When you add a comment, you always get and horizontal scrollbar and the comment is shown in a single line. Even if you have a big screen, you get every paragraph in a single line.

I attacched a screenshot soy you can see what I am talking about. I attached two screenshots, one including the comment and the other shows how you see the comment in the task.

Thank you for report about this issue... it will be fixed in version 1.3 but at the moment you can copy attached file to modules\items\actions (rewrite exist file)

I copied the file you posted to modules\items\actions and then now I am getting the following error message_:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function auto_link_text() in /home/rain4826/public_html/tasktest/modules/items/actions/comments_listing.php on line 80

oh, sorry, it's because I already added extra code for version 1.3 and it's conflicted...
please restore original file from archive and wait for new release, it will be in next week I think
