Problem with parent entity adding "New Item" from child-entity report

I have an entity "Projects" and a child-entity "Tickets".
I am creating a standard-report on entity "Tickets".
I allow button "New item" on the report.
When creating a new item from the report, I get the dialog to choose the parent entity.
In this dialog I am missing certain projects.
I found out, that it depends somehow on the "Status"-field in "Projects". I have 6 options in this field. With 3 options it works, and with the other 3 it doesn't work.
As I am logged in as administrator, rights-settings shouldn't matter.

Not clear what do you mean. Can you provide some screenshots?

Solved - Thanks Sergey for the prompt reply.

Problem was, that there was a default filter in the entity "Project", which filtered on certain values in field "Status".
When entering new records from a report, the dropdown field for choosing the corresponding record of the parent entity uses this default filter.
