Add contacts to mailchimp using PHP code?

Is it possible to add contacts into Mailchimp using PHP and the API?
Since destiny already has a module for it, I thought I would try the API since automate actions isn't triggering the module to add the contacts, and it comes back with "Error: Process: #240, Actions for the process: #283 - Class "MailchimpMarketing\ApiClient" not found on line 1".
