Any Type of Export: Nested Entity Data Blank

When either exporting to excel or using templates to export, when attempting to export an entity with a nested entity field in it, the nested entity field's data is blank in the exported data.

We are being audited and we have critical data that need's to be exported along with main entity data in bulk.
We are unable to export properly if the nested entity data is blank.

We have also tried templates > export selected, but getting data from a sub entity using the nested entity field isn't working either.

TLDR

Either fix exporting data with a nested entity field in it, or allow us to also export fields from sub entities.
