Project Cost Feature

Dear Support,

I'm just sharing my thought and ideas, when we talking about project so we have 3 big variable such as Resources, Time and Cost

Resources and time covered by this tools, but when we talking about cost or specifically cost control it will be an issue.
When resources update milestones they should put some cost there, as project manager we would like to control the cost as listed in budget, user couldnt change any number on the cost.

sample:
service A is 100, so the amount one hundred should be look up from input in the tools.

If this could put as additional feature this will be perfect to be a Project Tools to cover all variable

thank you for your bog, its answer my question. and now I use formula to make it easy my entity

Next question is, could we make a new entity ex. name Cost List, this entity record all name of cost include the amount. say it I create field only for :
Cost Name:
Amount:

from this list will be use in other entity, such as entity project. in this entity project will have dropdown field which setting same with the cost name in cost list entity. so when user choose one of cost name its automaticaly take amount from entity list.

sample:
ENTITY COST LIST:
Cost Name: COST A
Ammount: 1000

in ENTITY PROJECT
COST NAME: COST A (pick by dropdown list)
Ammount: 1000 (Formula which data taking from ENTITY COST)

Hope this idea will provide in next version

Yes, this is already done for 2.0. There will be new function "SELECT" allows you select value from related entity or from parent entity.
